Introducing the inaugural limited-edition release of Master Blender’s Reserve, crafted by our Black Tot Master Blender, Oliver Chilton.
Master Blender’s Reserve is a perpetual blend of the world's finest and rarest rums. For this inaugural release, we began with the perpetual reserve from last year’s Black Tot 50th Anniversary rum, incorporating hand-selected flagons of original British Royal Navy rum from 1970 and earlier.
Oliver has introduced a unique component to this year’s release: a cask of rum from Australia’s oldest rum distillery. This addition marks 100 years since the cessation of rum rations for Australian sailors on British ships, bringing funkier, high-ester flavour profiles with distinct notes of eucalyptus and pineapple.
This special cask has been seamlessly married into our first Master Blender’s Reserve, resulting in a funky, fruity, and multi-layered blend.
