
Master Blender's Reserve 2023
Master Blender's Reserve 2023 is a richer and heavier blend, with flavours of espresso and cacao.
For Master Blender's Reserve 2023 our Master Blender, Oliver Chilton, looked to create a blend that is closer to the original Navy rum with a heavier mouth feel. This year's blend evokes flavours of indulgent chocolate and stone fruits.

The signature flavours
& aromas
Cooked blood orange, studded with cloves, leads into a rich, full and sweet palate. Rum-raisin, toffee and chocolate linger with the finish.
Dark chocolate Peaches Raisins

THE BLEND
GUYANA - A pot & column still rum, with heavier notes of tonka bean, chocolate and liquorice.
TRINIDAD - A lighter column still rum, with flavours of stone fruits and vanilla.
BARBADOS - Famous elegant notes of tropical fruits, vanilla and coconut.
JAMAICA - A pot still rum with distinctive funk-driven, tropical fruit characteristics.
GRENADA - This year, for the first time, we have included a rum from Grenada, distilled in 1993.
PERPETUAL BLEND - Each year, we keep aside a proportion of our previous year's Reserve blend to use as a base for the next.
