Master Blender's Reserve 2025
Black Tot Master Blender’s Reserve 2025 is a perpetual blend of the world’s finest and rarest rums.
This year’s release celebrates the 55th anniversary of Black Tot Day and includes a special last remaining cask of our inaugural limited-edition release: Black Tot 50th Anniversary. This coveted blend from our first limited-edition bottling has undergone an additional five years of ageing in sherry casks before being added to our 2025 blend.
Reminiscent of the traditional naval rum style, this year’s multi-layered blend is rich, robust, and indulgent.
We provide a fully transparent breakdown of every rum that goes into our liquid. As always, this includes the perpetual blend from last year; furthermore, we have added six hand-selected original Navy flagons from 1970 to this year’s blend.
The signature flavours
& aromas
Expect rich notes of black liquorice, dark chocolate, and over-ripe banana on the nose. On the palate, there are details of Valencia orange juice, anise, and dry cinnamon, dusted with the mint and fennel characteristic of its age - followed by a beautiful grapefruit and acacia honey finish.

THE BLEND
GUYANA - Pot & column still rums, with heavier notes of tonka bean, chocolate and liquorice.
BARBADOS - Pot & column still rums, famous for elegant notes of tropical fruits, honey and coconut.
TRINDAD - A heavy column still rum, with distinctive rich, oily characteristics.
JAMAICA - A pot still rum with distinctive funk-driven, tropical fruit characteristics.
PERPETUAL BLEND - Each year, we keep aside a proportion of our previous year's blend to use as a base for the next.
