By day, Danny works behind the counter at a Glasgow institution – The Good Spirits Company, while at night you’ll find him behind the bar at The Gate. He has been working in the drinks industry since 2015, and having worked in various types of venues, has come to the conclusion that people just want to be looked after as they sip on a tasty, simple beverage. So that’s what he aims to provide!

About the Garibirdi cocktail, Danny says it’s ‘‘a hybrid of two classic drinks that I absolutely love - the Garibaldi and a Jungle bird. The result is a fluffy, tropical, funky drink with a bitter kick that celebrates the unique flavour of Black Tot rum.’’
